Building Maintenance Sales Manager

We are seeking a Building Maintenance Sales Manager to join our team in Joplin, Missouri. This position is a full-time, exempt position with management benefits including health, dental, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and more! This position will build relationships with new and existing customers to increase building maintenance sales opportunities and provide solutions for customer needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, customer-oriented problem solver to work with our leadership team and grow our business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Seek out and develop relationships with new customers
- Deepen relationships with existing customers,
- Estimate building maintenance projects
- Work with the Director of Sales to meet or exceed annual sales and profit goals
Desired Qualifications:
- A degree in Sales/Marketing/Management is preferred. Extensive experience in sales in the commercial construction industry may be substituted for education
- 6 years experience in sales with local clients, preferably in the commercial construction industry

- Exceptional communication skills with teammates and customers, including the ability to convert client conversations into business needs/sales
- Experience reading and analyzing blueprints
- Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to source new customers and provide unique sales solutions
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Energy for prospecting and “cold calling” customers
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries or complaints and effectively and professionally resolve issues
- Ability to use technology to assist with daily tasks, including Microsoft Office and internet searching
